The San Juan De Capistrano pool is surrounded by luscious green grass and tropical plants. As it is high up and close to the edge of the Natural Park, you can enjoy great views over the rest of Capistrano, of Nerja town and of the sea in the distance.
The San Juan De Capistrano pool area comprises of one larger pool and a smaller, children’s pool, which is in a separate, grassed area. There is a different main entrance for each pool, both of which have wheelchair and buggy access, but you can move between the two pools via a few steps.

There are Lifeguards on duty to ensure your safety and they are very helpful should you need assistance.
Although around the pool there are lovely spots to lay your towels on the grass and work on your tan, you can also rent a sun-bed for only €3 and an umbrella for only €1.
There is a great little poolside café, called ‘Sink or Swim’, where you can buy lunch, tapas, sandwiches, ice- creams and refreshments etc. This is a Spanish run snack-bar and you can expect to find ‘Sink or Swim’ open whenever the pool is open.
There are two other cafes very close to the community pool area, in fact you need to go past the pool to access them. Both are popular with locals and visitors alike and they are also open in the evenings for dinner or for drinks; They are: Rocky’s bar and KK’s Bar and Balti.
